Ciara hails from Fremont, CA, up in the beautiful Bay Area. After a couple years of passionately defending NorCal as the better Cal, she fell for the L.A. charm (mostly the food) and realized that both Cals are equally grand. She has had a passion for music since starting piano lessons when she was 5 years old. From there, she went on to join choir, musical theater productions, and show choir. She joined her high school’s a cappella group and became its director in her senior year. She has won talent competitions in her home city, and she sang the National Anthem for an Oakland Raiders game. When she’s not in class or singing with the VoCals, she can be found baking lovely desserts, interning at some film studio, or taking late-night drives with her friends to Diddy Riese in Westwood while loudly and proudly sporting an assortment of USC attire.
