Born and raised on a two-acre farm in Western Kansas, Thomas grew up and
went to school in the fictitious small town of Osapawalotie, nestled in the
made-up county of Suawnee Hills. Needless to say, the adjustment to life
in Los Angeles was a significant one, but one that Thomas took in stride
with humility, in keeping with the wholesome Midwestern values that are so
near and dear to his heart. He has always enjoyed singing and performing,
and loves the opportunity and flash that LA and USC offer. They come as a
welcome change for him, as he grew tired of the Annual Southwestern
Tri-County Talent Show after winning unopposed for eleven straight years
(with the exception of the controversial and seldom discussed 1998 scandal
involving Bernice Matherson's Amazing Juggling Rooster). Thomas enjoys the
little things in life, such as water skiing, snowboarding, and quality
neckwear. He likes to make people laugh and he loves singing with the VoCals.
