Katie Sims grew up in a small suburban town, west of Chicago, called Clarendon Hills. It was in this small town where she took her first steps, spoke her first word, and also sang along to the Jungle Book’s “The Bear Necessities” approximately a million times a day. This drove her parents crazy, but it was then that Katie realized that she would always have a song in her heart and has been singing ever since. Katie is extraordinarily thrilled and proud to be a VoCal and wants to send an enormous kiss to her family and all of her VoCal brothers and sisters as well. She can think of nothing better than making sweet music with this awesomely talented group of people.
