Janel is incredibly
proud and excited to be singing with the VoCals. She has been singing since she was four, when her mom heard her beltin' to Raffi in the backseat of the minivan and thought, "Hey... that sounds pretty good!" An avid musical theatre participant since the age of eight Janel's favorite role was in 2003, as the bumbly Lola in Barry Manilow's cheesy one-hit-wonder-turned-musical "Copacabana." When she's not listening to Sting, Elton John, Steely Dan, the wonderous Stevie or Sheryl Crow, she enjoys eating garlic bread, driving with the top down and singing at the top of her lungs. Much love to her VoCal bretheren.
